MEET THE NURSES

I am a Felton resident who grew up in Santa Cruz.  After graduating high school, I got a job as a kennel assistant part-time while going to Cabrillo College for welding technology & riding my downhill bike any chance I got.  I soon realized I wanted to work with animals full-time, and got a job as a vet assistant at a local hospital.  I switched my schooling to veterinary technology at San Juan College, and graduated as a Certified Veterinary Assistant in 2010.  

Later that same year, I met the love of my life, a Boulder Creek local, and moved back to the mountains to start our family.  I have a cat named Raven, a dog called Zero, and am enjoying my new adventure as a chicken mom to a flock of hens.

I've loved animals since the day I was born.  I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, pigs, chickens, cows, and I was lucky enough to get my first horse at age 9.

I began working in my first veterinary job at age 16, and have worked in numerous Bay Area and Santa Cruz hospitals.  I have 5 years of emergency experience, 20+ years of general practice, as well as surgery specialty.

Animals have the ability to be so honest and in the moment, and it grounds me to be able to help and meet them where they are in that moment.  I feel honored to be able to care for all your fur babies.

When I'm not working, I'm hanging with my 2 kiddos or riding the local trails with my QH gelding named Duck.
